Safety, Safety, Safety!

Study Shows Shocking Safety Gaps

We knew it would be terribly dangerous to add 36 speed trains per day to the Florida East Coast Rail corridor through densely populated communities - and now we know we were right!

88 People are dead on the Brightline/FECR corridor alone and now we find...

The Florida Legislature's OPPAGA Study of Passenger Rail Systems confirms - the state's passenger rail is the deadliest in the country!  From Brightline to Tri-Rail to Sun Rail - the average annual fatality rate is 3.5 times higher than the national average.

The study, done by an independent consulting group, CPCS Transcom, also found there are NO regulations governing HIGHER speed trains going 80 - 125 mph in the state of Florida.  This means there are no increased safety requirements for Brightline's 36 trains per day which will rip through the Treasure and Space Coasts at 110 mph.

CALL TO ACTION!
